Over the past 10 years I had struggled continuously with severe sinus infections. I was prescribed powerful antibiotics every other month to combat this illness. Eventually the Doctors caught on, and sent me to a specialist. He took a CAT Scan, and determined that I had bone abnormalities that prevented the infection from ever being cured. He ordered up surgery to fix these problems, however my insurance company wouldn't cover his practice. I was referred to near by Missoula, and to a new Doctor.
Once I arrived at the new office, this physician showed little interest in any of my history, or the Scan results. He promptly told me that I probably was just being a hypochondriac, and got headaches. This devastated me as it undermined my entire struggle. This was 2005, and after this rude awakening I attempted for the next 9 years to deal with this on my own.
During this time frame I followed the same pattern of antibiotics every other month
until February of 2014, when I knew something needed to be done. I went to a new physician, who ordered new scan, and immediately wanted me in surgery. By March 2014, I was set to have numerous procedures done to correct this problem. The results of this surgery were life changing, but a new set of problems arose.
With the continual influx of antibiotics into my system, my digestive track was destroyed. I would be constipated for weeks. I had food allergies to nearly everything. I was gaining weight no matter what I ate, and no diet could fix it. I needed a reset.
This brings me to Isagenix. I have seen my friends all have incredible results on this product, as a means to recharge their system. I have decided to give it a go! I want to make this summer the best yet, living healthy and confidently in my skin. With this blog I will catalog my journey through a 90 Day "You Can Too" challenge that is being put on my by Isagenix team.
